OFF to Froggy favourite Papillon in Chelsea for a slap-up dinner à trois.

Our diners feasted on scallops, foie gras, succulent fish, fillet of beef and a decadent chocolate pudding, washed down with a selection of the house’s finest spirits and wine.

They began with classic gin and tonics, before moving on to a bottle of Puligny Montrachet “Champ Canet” 2001 and two more of the 1999 vintage of Chambertin Grand Cru.

They then rounded off the evening with espresso and cappuccino coffees and a taste of Hennessy XO cognac and Trepout armagnac, taking the cheque to a tidy £1,211.34.
