AHH, it&rsquo;s the little luxuries in life that count, isn&rsquo;t it? These six weary ladies popped into the Palm Court restaurant at The Langham hotel on Friday, to treat themselves after a hard day&rsquo;s retail therapy in the boutiques of Bond Street.<br /><br />All six opted for the luxurious Bijoux afternoon tea &ndash; Cornish crab and avocado, fois gras and passionfruit and cream cheese and truffle sandwiches, as well as &ldquo;Cartier&rdquo; love collection cookies and &ldquo;Asprey&rdquo; black and white Battenberg cake.<br /><br />Of course, no sumptuous afternoon spread would be complete without the requisite glasses of bubbly, and our guests spared no expense with two bottles of &pound;600 Cristal 2002 champagne. Who said decadence was dead?
