Standard & Poor’s (S&P’s) has maintained a “buy” rating on sports group Adidas because it believes recent retail news flow reflects generally effective leverage of the Easter calendar effect, with March footfall higher than forecast. S&P says it continues to see the June FIFA World Cup supporting the Adidas brand.
Nanoco has been given a “buy” recommendation by Collins Stewart as it said the nanotechnology developer, responsible for the technology behind LED display screens, has had a strong performance. Collins Stewart say Nanoco’s production road map, solar sector opportunities and reduced technology risk are key valuation drivers.
Seymour Pierce says that Robert Walters’ year end trading update was very good. Net Fee Income increased by 30 per cent to £32.6m, well ahead of expectations. Seymour Pierce says that the upturn has come sooner than expected and has upgraded forecasts. It moves from “hold” to “buy” with a target price of 300p.
