NEARLY all of the homes planned for the first phase of the Battersea Power Station development have been sold after “phenomenal interest” from buyers, its owners said yesterday.
The Battersea Power Station Development Company said it has exchanged contracts with buyers for 94 per cent – or 818 of the 866 flats and townhouses – for £675m.
The first phase, known as Circus West, was put up for sale in January and recent demand has made it one of the fastest selling developments in London in recent years.
Prices ranged from £350,000 for a studio, £420,000 for a one-bedroom flat to £6m for a penthouse.
The 39-acre scheme will eventually include 3,400 homes, 1.7m square feet of offices, shops, and two hotels.
