Aussie captain expects to make Ashes

CRICKET: Australia captain Michael Clarke is confident he will be fit for this summer’s Ashes series in England, despite a recurring back injury. Clarke returned to Australia from India to have his back examined, missing the fourth Test. “I’m always positive so I think it’s very unlikely I’ll miss the Champions Trophy and the Ashes,” Clarke said. “I’ll listen to the experts once I’ve had my scans and do as I’m told.” Australia fell to a six-wicket defeat in Delhi yesterday, succumbing to a 4-0 whitewash in the series.
