America undaunted as terror hunt begins

FLAGS in the US capital were lowered to half-mast yesterday as Barack Obama vowed that the country would respond “selflessly, compassionately and unafraid” to the Boston Marathon explosions that killed three people and injured nearly 200 more on Monday. For the first time, the US President called the atrocities an act of terrorism and said that the FBI was treating the incident as such. Yesterday, a letter containing a poision believed to be ricin was sent to the office of senator Roger Wicker.
