Africa boon at Wood Group

ENGINEER Wood Group yesterday said it had snapped up 11 new African contracts, netting it $240m (£158m) over the year.

Wood Group’s three divisions – PSN, GTS and engineering – have secured a variety of contracts in African countries such as Equatorial Guinea, Chad, Algeria, Ghana and Angola.

“We are committed to building a sustainable business in Africa,” said James Crawford, managing director of Wood Group PSN.
