JAPANESE Prime Minister Shinzo Abe today emphasized that deregulation is key to the country’s growth and that he still plans to continue his aggressive stimulus strategy.

At a news conference in Tokyo, he said that he was certain his policies would be successful and encouraged confidence in the market.

Japan’s economy has suffered from deflation for years, which the new leader hopes to counteract with his expansionary policies, dubbed ‘Abenomics’.
