Kenwood to swap paintings for paella as Foodies festival arrives

Gastronomic treats don’t come better than London’s food festivals and this weekend sees the second London leg of one of the capital’s favourites, Foodies Festival (it’s all in the name).

Kenwood House, usually better known for its paintings than paella, will play host to the event from Friday 30 May until 1 June.

“We are delighted to continue our Foodies Festival tour with the MasterChef Street Food Bus at Kenwood House this weekend,” Sue Hitchins, exhibition director of Foodies told The Capitalist. “Then it’s onto Clapham Common next weekend and Battersea Park in August. We’ve got so much happening in the various food and drink theatres and a fantastic range of producers, street food and pop-up restaurants.”

Sounds delicious. We’ve managed to get our hands on a bunch of tickets and will be giving away a pair to the first 30 readers who get in touch. Fancy it?
