Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management
The wealth management business has announced the appointment of Sasha Dabliz as head of marketing and communications. She was most recently at Schroders, where she worked on the integration of Cazenove Capital and Schroders Private Banking. Dabliz formerly held senior marketing roles at Brewin Dolphin and Killik, and also previously ran her own consulting business.

Taylor Wessing
The law firm has appointed Adrian Rainey as a partner in its corporate technology practice. He joins from Taylor Vinters, where he established the venture capital practice in its London office.

Barnett Waddingham
The actuarial, administration and consultancy services business has hired Scott Eason as head of insurance consulting. He was most recently at Societe Generale’s Corporate and Investment Bank, where he was a managing director and head of insurance and pension advisory for the UK, Scandinavia, and Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Baring Asset Management
Guy Dunham has been appointed head of global and aggregate at the asset management firm. He joins from HSBC Global Asset Management, where he was head of global fixed income in London. Prior to that, Dunham was head of portfolio management at the Bank of International Settlements in Basel.

Charles Russell
The law firm has appointed Ashley Freeman as senior counsel and head of its Islamic finance practice. He specialises in cross-border and comparative law issues, and previously held roles at the Central Bank of Bahrain.

OMERS Private Equity
The private equity business has hired Jonathan Mussellwhite as a managing director in its London office. He has over 18 years’ private equity experience and joins from Cognetas, where he co-led its London office. Before that, Mussellwhite was a director at Electra Fleming.

Eversheds
Jonathan Brook has joined the law firm’s litigation team as a partner. He specialises in commercial dispute resolution and investigations. Brook was formerly a senior associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.
