Sky’s third quarter results are mostly as expected with the telco subdued given the tough competition, but also with good total product, connected services, on demand growth, and pay-TV net additions. Competition limits the scope for Sky upgrades... when/if the accelerated Premier League auction starts.

Sky reported good nine-month results with an adjusted earning per share that was ahead of consensus, and strong operating metrics overall. On the content side, the Sky has signed a new multi-year agreement with Paramount, which again reassures in light of potential over the top competition.
