THE LONDON marathon may be melting into a distant, Deep Heat-tinged memory but one City worker’s marathon challenge is anything but over.

Charles Cowling, a director at JLT Employee Benefits, is due to attempt the Brathay 10in10 (that’s 10 marathons in 10 days for the uninitiated) in little over a month.

Cowling, who is also Master of the Worshipful Company of Actuaries, is aiming to make £20,000 for the Brathay Trust by completing the Windamere-based endurance test.

But if any of you fancy burning off some of those Lindt bunnies and don’t quite fancy the 260 mile 10in10, you could sign up for the British 10k, which takes place in July and runs through the City...
