The law firm has announced the appointment of Adam King as head of tax in its Milton Keynes office. He joined in 1999, and specialises in exit and succession planning, profit extraction, capital allowances, and R&D tax credits.

KPMG
The professional services firm has made two appointments. John Cox joins as a partner in its UK tax and pensions practice from Deloitte. Justin Blackburn joins as a director in its tax management consulting team. He was previously a director at Macquarie, where he was responsible for tax reporting for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

JC Rathbone Associates
The advisory firm has hired Anton Hong as an associate director. He was most recently at PMC Treasury, where he developed hedging strategies for financial sponsors. Prior to that, Hong worked in the global derivatives team at Dresdner Kleinwort.

Livingstone
The mid-market mergers and acquisitions and debt advisory firm has made two appointments. Daniel Domberger has been promoted to partner. He joined in 2003 from Moore Stephens, where he worked in its corporate finance practice. Gavin Orde joins as a director from Rothschild.

Eversheds
Michael Burns has been appointed as an employment partner at the law firm. Burns has over 20 years’ experience dealing in all aspects of employment law, and joins from DLA Piper, where he was a partner.

Complyport
The compliance and regulatory consultancy has appointed Paul Grainger as chief executive. He was most recently at the RGP Group, where he was managing director of resource compliance.

Renaissance Capital
Mike Harris has been appointed as a managing director and head of Turkey product at the emerging and frontier markets investment bank. Harris previously spent over 19 years at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he was a senior research analyst, research manager and equity strategist.
