Paribas Securities Services
The investment custodian has hired Linda Morsia as head of its depositary banking business in the UK. She joins from State Street Trustees, where she was head of client management, sales and business development.

The professional services firm has appointed Maria Maher to its competition economics advisory practice. She was most recently at AlixPartners, where she was a director. Prior to that, Maher held roles at the OECD and NERA Economic Consulting.

Edison Investment Research
The investment intelligence firm has made three appointments. Jeremy Silewicz joins as a director and head of institutional services. He has previously held senior equity sales positions at Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley. Sash Tusa joins as a defence and aerospace analyst. He formerly held roles at Goldman Sachs and UBS. Richard Windsor joins as a technology analyst from Nomura.

Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management
Adam Ross has joined the wealth management business as an investment director in its portfolio management team. He spent the past 18 months at Jonathanfry, where he was a private wealth director. Prior to that, Ross was a vice president and investment adviser at Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management.

The law firm has announced the appointment of Kenny Scott as a senior associate in its Edinburgh office. Scott will join the national employment team, and was most recently at McClure Naismith.

Latham & Watkins
The law firm has appointed Lucy Oddy as a partner in its finance department. She was formerly at Berwin Leighton Paisner, where she advised on complex, cross-border finance matters in the UK and Europe. Prior to that, she worked in the structured finance team at Clifford Chance.

BTG Financial Consulting
The advisory boutique has hired Phil Dakin as a director in its London office. He has over 14 years’ experience in the restructuring industry. Dakin was most recently at KPMG, where he was a senior manager.
