ARSENAL midfielder Mikel Arteta revealed yesterday that manager Arsene Wenger was as angry as his players have ever seen him after going 4-0 down during the first half at Liverpool on Saturday.
“It was like a car crash. The manager was really upset at half-time – that’s normal because it wasn’t good enough for this football club. It was the angriest I have seen him,” Arteta said.
The Spaniard scored a penalty after the break yet the Gunners lost 5-1 and slipped to second in the table. They face Manchester United at home on Wednesday night.
