The accountancy and wealth management group has announced the appointment of Tina Riches as national tax partner. She was most recently at the Chartered Institute of Taxation, where she was a technical director.

Royal Bank of Canada
The bank has recruited Tim Houghton as head of business development in its wealth management division. Houghton joined RBC in 1999. Since 2011, he has been head of private client wealth management offshore.

Nomura
The investment bank has hired Todd Sandoz as global head of execution services and equity trading. He joins from Credit Suisse, where he was most recently head of global foreign exchange and short-term interest rates trading in London.

Kingsley Napley
Fiona Simpson has been appointed partner in the litigation firm’s dispute resolution practice. Simpson specialises in civil and criminal fraud cases. She was formerly at Withers, where she was special counsel. Prior to that, she held roles at Crowell & Moring and Vizards Wyeth Solicitors.

FinnCap
The broker has made two senior appointments. Paul Harrington joins from Westhouse Securities, where he worked in its investment trust team. James Simpson joins from Jefferies. He has previously worked at Canaccord Genuity, HSBC Investment Bank and Arbuthnot Securities.

Round Hill Capital
The integrated real estate investment firm has recruited John Baker as chief financial officer (CFO). He was most recently CFO at DTZ Global Investment and Asset Management.

Assurant Solutions
Andy Morris has been appointed chief marketing officer for the insurance company’s European business. He previously worked at GE Commercial Finance.

Kemp Little
The law firm has recruited Nicola Fulford as a partner in its commercial technology practice. Fulford joins from Bristows, where she specialised in privacy and data protection.
