CHELSEA boss Jose Mourinho insists his team are not divers despite midfielder Ramires becoming the second Blues star to be cautioned in as many games in yesterday’s 2-0 FA Cup win at Derby.
John Obi Mikel and Oscar – booked for diving at Southampton last week – both scored in the second half as Chelsea set up a fourth-round tie at home to Premier League rivals Stoke.
Mourinho said of the diving storms: “I maintain: isolated episodes. The referee attacking it; the manager supporting the referee, I think we’re doing well.”
The Blues manager backed referee Andre Marriner’s decision to book Ramires, and added: “In other clubs there are really divers and they are not booked.”
