IT’S good to see that a bit of jail time hasn’t stopped friends of Vicky Pryce (Chris Huhne’s ex-wife and member of City A.M.’s shadow MPC) from inviting her to their Christmas festivities. The Capitalist is pleased to hear that Pryce, who spent two months in Holloway Prison for perverting the course of justice, had a lovely evening at Mark Carney’s Christmas drinks last week, and in fact, has had plenty of invites this December. “It was lovely, I’ve been going to the Bank of England governor’s drinks every year and this year is no different,” she told The Capitalist. “I’ve had just as many invites as usual. Everybody has been kind and really open with me. As far as I can tell, everything is back to normal.” Glad to hear it Vicky. We wonder if her ex-husband is going to quite as many soirees...

FRIDAY is coming fast and with it, for many of us, the Christmas break. But before you crack open the Quality Street and settle into your new box sets, why not support a good cause by taking part in Walking Home For Christmas? By ditching your normal transport and walking home, you can raise money for wounded ex-service men and women (and really feel you deserve those mince pies over the holiday). You can sign up individually or as a team by visiting www.walkinghomeforchristmas.com.
