The law firm has announced the hire of Mark Bevington as principal tax adviser in its London corporate tax practice. Bevington specialises in UK domestic taxation. He was most recently at Ernst & Young, where he was a partner.

Ernst & Young
The professional services firm has appointed David Kilshaw as a partner in its private client team, to grow its family office business in the UK. Kilshaw was formerly head of KPMG’s private client tax practice.

Vanguard Asset Management
The asset management business has recruited Caroline Hancock as head of PR for Europe. She was previously at BlackRock, where she ran its iShares’ PR programme globally. Prior to that, Hancock worked in the financial services division at FTI Consulting.

Oanda Corporation
Vatsa Narasimha has joined the trading services company as executive vice president and chief strategy officer. He joins from The Boston Consulting Group, where he was a principal in its corporate development and financial institutions practices.

Cordea Savills
Ljiljana MacDonald has joined the property investment manager’s business development team as a director. She was most recently at Lambert Smith Hampton, where she was head of research and strategy. Before that, MacDonald held various roles at UBS Asset Management.

Quilter Cheviot
Matthieu Duncan has been appointed chief operating officer at the investment management business. He joins from Newton Investment Management, where he was head of business strategy.

The underwriting arm of Hyperion Insurance Group has hired two managers to its asset protection division. Kate Thorp and Wesley Timothy both join from First Title.

Deutsche Bank
The bank has made four senior hires to its Central Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa business. Natasha Isakova and Dimitry Kabysh join as managing directors. Gabor Asztalos and Tatyana Belova join as directors from Morgan Stanley and UBS respectively.
