The law firm has recruited David Fennell as managing partner. He specialises in projects and private finance initiatives, and has led the firm’s projects team for the past six years. Fennell joined Wragge in 1996 from Herbert Smith.

Alvarez & Marsal
The professional services firm has hired two managing directors to its global forensic and disputes services business. Andrew Hildreth joins from AlixPartners, and was formerly professor of economics at the University of California. Tasneem Azad has over 16 years’ industry experience, and was most recently at DotEcon.

Tom Stevenson has been appointed investment director for personal investing at Fidelity Worldwide Investment. He joined the asset management company five years ago.

Richard Verasamy has joined the payment and risk management firm as chief financial officer. He was previously at Jameson Bank, where he was chief financial officer and chief risk officer. Prior to that, he held various roles at Travelex.

The mid-market advisory firm has recruited Tom Kelly as an industry adviser for the IT and managed services sector. Kelly was formerly managing director of Logicalis UK.

The underwriting arm of Hyperion Insurance Group has announced two hires to its i asset underwriting division. Phillip Oldcorn joins as managing director from First Title Insurance, which he founded in 1995. Andrew Hillier joins as sales and marketing director.

Independent Trustee Services
Darren Jefferson has been appointed operations manager at the pensions company. He was previously national partnership manager at NOW: Pensions.

The investment management firm has hired Chris Corrado as chief information officer. Corrado was most recently at UBS, where he was a managing director and head of platform services.
