Pirates match brings Lewsey back to the City

FORMER PwC beancounter, Citi trader and more importantly winner of City A.M.’s very own City Fittie talent search Josh Lewsey is returning to the Square Mile this week.

The ex-rugby player left his role as a trader at Citi in April, in order to return to the world of rugby as chief executive of the Cornish Pirates team.

But Lewsey will be back on Thursday, when his team play London side Saracens at the Honourable Artillery Company grounds. Ahead of the big match Lewsey said his team were “very excited about playing one of Europe’s top clubs” and “particularly at such a symbolic and historic location”.

For anybody wanting to head down and watch Lewsey’s return to the City on Thursday, kick off is 6.15pm and tickets are available by calling 08448471876.
