Today's City Moves cover home furnishing, drinks and real estate. Take a look at these movers and shakers:

Home furnishing company, Ikea UK and Ireland, has appointed Javier Quinones as country retail manager to lead the UK and Ireland business. Javier will take over from Gillian Drakeford on 1 June, building on her achievements in sales growth and expansion across the UK and Ireland. After joining Ikea Badalona in Barcelona as a part time co-worker in the self serve department in 1997, Javier progressed within Ikea Spain, in roles such as sales manager and store manager, before joining Ikea UK and Ireland in 2014 as deputy retail manager. In his current position as Deputy Retail Manager, Javier has played an important role in driving the success of the UK and Ireland business with responsibility for sales, property, marketing, expansion, logistics, interior design and a number of stores. Gillian will join Inter Ikea Systems as Ikea retail system manager.

Fever-Tree, the world’s leading supplier of premium carbonated mixers, is pleased to announce the appointment of Domenico (‘Domenic’) De Lorenzo as non-executive director of the company and chairman of the audit committee with immediate effect. A qualified chartered accountant, Domenic, aged 54, brings with him a wealth of financial management experience having spent 20 years at SABMiller, the former FTSE 100 beverage company, focusing on strategy and corporate development before reaching the position of chief financial officer. During his time at SABMiller he was involved with more than 100 global transactions, acquisitions and disposals, prior to its sale to AB Inbev in 2016. As a former FTSE 100 CFO, he has valuable experience of building global premium brands and of scaling already significant businesses.

Colliers International

Colliers International has further bolstered its City offices team with the appointment of Tim Cooney, as an associate director, within its occupier acquisitions & advisory division. Tim joins Colliers from Farebrother & Union Street Partners, where for the past three years, he has provided strategic property advice to niche and corporate occupier clients, specialising in office acquisitions; lease re-gears; renewals; disposals and assisting in the project management of office fit-outs, in the central London, midtown and the South Bank markets. Originally from Melbourne, Australia, Tim began his career in property at Hodges Real Estate, working in a number of disciplines while studying for a bachelor of business, management and marketing at Monash University. He later moved to Axis Property in 2012, as a sales and leasing consultant, before moving to the UK in 2015.
