Knight Frank

Knight Frank, the global property adviser, has today launched a new debt advisory practice with the senior appointment of Lisa Attenborough. Lisa joins as head of commercial debt, and will lead the new service line, as the firm continues to expand its remit. Joining Knight Frank from CBRE where she was a director working across the capital advisory and specialist market teams, Lisa will be at the forefront of building Knight Frank’s strategic debt and structured finance practice. Lisa’s previous experience includes over 10 years of working at Barclays Bank in a range of teams which include structured property finance, debt finance and latterly in the corporate healthcare team. She is a leading expert in providing strategic commercial debt advice and has an exceptional track record, with unrivalled previous experience in this complex sector.

Women in Mining

Women in Mining UK (WIM UK) has appointed WIM UK member Calliope Lalousis to lead its newly created partnerships and finance committee, effective immediately. In her new role, Calliope will lead the team that manages WIM’s existing strategic partnerships with Anglo American, Glencore, and Rio Tinto, as well as any new partnerships. Calliope is a senior consultant in the investment and business planning team based at Hatch's London office, principally conducting techno-economic reviews on projects and facilities across the globe. Calliope is a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland with an MBA and has considerable practical experience as a professional engineer and project delivery professional on metals and mining projects around the world.

Duff & Phelps

Duff & Phelps, the premier valuation and corporate finance adviser, has appointed Peter Clokey, who will be representing the firm as a senior adviser in the UK and Ireland practice. Peter has over 35 years of experience working in valuations and corporate finance, advising clients on transactions and related valuations. Prior to this, Peter had been a partner in the valuations practice at PwC since 1989 and is one of the UK’s most experienced and well-known valuation experts. At Duff & Phelps, Peter will help accelerate the growth of the firm’s valuations and disputes practices; assist with developing and implementing overall strategy; and be available for clients as an expert witness in high-profile cases. During his career, Peter has provided expert witness evidence to the UK High Court and International Arbitration Courts on more than 25 occasions.
