HSBC's online banking system is back up and running after customers were unable to access their online banking accounts earlier this morning.
This is the second time over the past four days that the bank's internet banking has run into problems. On Friday, customers were unable to access their accounts online or via the HSBC app. The app appears to be working today, however.
Frustrated customers have been tweeting their complaints to the bank:
One customer said he was able to log into his account after a several attempts, but none of his account information was available when he did access it:
Today's internet problems come hours after the lender announced increased profit in the third quarter.
HSBC has been contacted for further detail.
