King’s Cross station evacuated: Witnesses report armed police at the scene

King’s Cross station has been evacuated, with witnesses reporting armed police are at the scene.

Passengers were instructed to leave the Tube and rail station on Friday evening after an emergency alarm went off, witnesses said.

According to witnesses on twitter the evacuation was due to overcrowding.

There are currently delays on the Northern line.

A traffic accident near Euston is also causing delays.
