City Moves for 20 October 2017 - who's switching jobs at Natixis, JP Morgan Cazenove and Arrow Global?

Today's City Moves cover commodities, investment banking and debt management. Take a look at these movers and shakers:


Marc Mourre has been appointed as head of global markets commodities at Natixis corporate and investment banking. He will be based in London. Marc has been working for Natixis as a senior adviser since March of this year, in parallel to working with a number of firms in an advisory capacity as director of Mourre and Co Limited, which he founded in 2016. Before this, he was with Morgan Stanley for 30 years, latterly in London as managing director, vice chairman of the commodities division and chairman of the firm’s African business. Before joining the finance industry, he worked for three years at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a cultural attache and then for four years as a crude oil trader.

JP Morgan Cazenove

After more than 37 years in investment banking, Laurence Hollingworth will retire. Laurence began his career in 1980 as an equity research analyst for Cazenove and held a variety of equity sales and research role prior to being named head of international equity capital markets in 2000. From 2005 to 2011 he was co-head of equity capital markets at JP Morgan Cazenove and then head of UK investment banking from 2011 to 2013. In 2013, he was named head of EMEA sector coverage for corporates and early last year, he was appointed vice chairman of EMEA ECM. Throughout his time at the firm, Laurence has been a major contributor to the success of JP Morgan Cazenove’s UK franchise.

Arrow Global

Paul Cooper will replace Rob Memmott as the group chief financial officer of Arrow Global. He will join the board when he starts on 1 January 2018. A qualified chartered accountant, Paul is a highly experienced CFO with experience in financial services roles both in the UK and overseas. He joins Arrow Global from leading global insurance business Sompo Canopius Group where he has been in a variety of senior executive roles since 2013. He was previously a financial services partner at Ernst & Young.
