Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has hinted that he would like to move to Paris Saint-Germain when he finishes his time at Old Trafford.

The former Chelsea, Inter Milan, Real Madrid and Porto boss has been linked with a new contract at United but insisted that his current job would not be his last.

“I am still a coach with concerns, with ambitions and with the desire to do new things. I am sure that I will not finish my career here [at United],” he said.

“My son, who lives in London, went to Paris to watch a Paris Saint-Germain match instead of Manchester. Why Paris? Because they have something special. Magic, quality and youth. It is fantastic.”

Mourinho, 54, is less than 18 months into a three-year contract at United and has never spent more than four consecutive seasons at one club.

The Portuguese is expected to be offered a new deal by United, with reports suggesting he is in line for a five-year contract worth £13m per season.

United are currently second in the Premier League, two points behind leaders Manchester City, after Saturday’s 0-0 draw at Liverpool.
