Legal & General
Legal & General, the FTSE 100 insurer, has appointed Craig Brown as director of its intermediary division. Craig replaces Steve Bryan and will be responsible for leading Legal & General’s intermediary distribution in both the protection and general insurance markets. Prior to taking on the new role, Craig has worked in a number of different areas across Legal & General over the past five years, with the most recent position being key account director. Prior to this, Craig was head of claims commercial management (insurance) and head of supplier management (insurance). Over the past five years, Craig has more than shown a commitment to intermediaries and a breadth of knowledge in the protection and GI markets, and his experience in the sector will drive continued success for Legal & General’s insurance business.
Tilney, the award winning wealth manager responsible for over £23bn of client assets, is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Woodhouse as chief executive. Until February Chris was CEO of UK motoring and financial services group RAC, a position he held for five years. Chris has previously held senior management roles in a number of well-known UK brands including deputy CEO and finance director of Debenhams and commercial director and deputy CEO of Homebase prior to its successful sale to GUS.
MHA MacIntyre Hudson
Top 20 UK accountancy firm MHA MacIntyre Hudson has appointed Alicia Crisp as its newest partner. Alicia, based in the firm’s London office, joined MHA MacIntyre Hudson in 2007 as a trainee and qualified in 2010. She was appointed manager in 2012 and promoted to director in 2016. At age 32 Alicia is one of the firm’s youngest partners. Her clients cover a range of sectors including include academies, construction companies, financial advisers and a variety of new startups.
