Transport for London has warned some District line trains may be slow moving or held for short periods "due to an earlier operational issue" at Plaistow.

Services were earlier suspended on the line between Victoria and Brixton, but have now resumed, however, delays on the entire line continue due to an earlier signal failure.

The Tube disruption comes as commuters face all-day delays at London Waterloo due to a points problem, and RMT members stage walkouts, affecting Southern rail and Greater Anglia services.
