Ikea has opened its 20th store in the UK in Sheffield today.

The Swedish furniture giant, which has been in the UK for 30 years, has created more than 480 new jobs with its Sheffield store and the Swedish ambassador Torbjörn Sohlström attended the opening.

Ikea will be opening two more stores before the end of the year, one in Exeter and one in Greenwich.

In total, the three new store openings this year will create 1,300 jobs.
