Alderbrooke, the human capital consultancy, has appointed Jonathan Ferrar, the globally respected HR strategy and workforce analytics expert, as a board adviser in London. A leading influencer in the world on HR issues, Jonathan is an authority on the future of work. He will strategically support Alderbrooke on its behavioural and cultural analysis capabilities. Jonathan has 25 years of experience, most recently in a succession of roles at IBM. He was listed on LinkedIn as a top HR analytics influencer in 2014, as one of 15 HR and people analytics experts to follow by Jibe in 2016. He has also recently written a book called The Power of the People: learn how successful organisations use workforce analytics to improve business performance. The combination of Alderbrooke’s expertise in behavioural and cultural analysis and Jonathan’s deep understanding of the market will enhance the firm’s already powerful predictive analytics capability.
British Irish Chamber of Commerce
David O'Reilly joined the British Irish Chamber of Commerce this month as London director. In this position, David assists the chamber team with ongoing business development in the London area and engagement with members of the Chamber and key stakeholders across an extensive range of events each year in the London region. He is a co-founder of a leading City corporate finance advisory boutique, Hampton Court Capital, prior to which he worked at Ion Equity, Bank of America, UBS and Dresdner Kleinwort as a technology, media, telecoms analyst and associate advising clients on fundraising via the equity and debt markets as well as international M&A deals. He holds a bachelors of commerce degree from University College Dublin and a Masters in finance from the Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business. He is a freeman of the Worshipful Company of Educators and a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
Evans Randall Investors
John Slade, one of the most experienced and respected figures in the UK property sector, is to join Evan Randall Investors, the London-based private equity real estate company, as executive chairman. John will become a partner in Evans Randall Investors alongside co-founder Kent Gardner and Paul Kendrick, joining the company’s growing Mayfair-based team. During his career John has delivered £15bn of investment transactions across the UK and Europe. He recently completed five years as UK chief executive of BNP Paribas real estate. His previous roles include founder and chief executive of real estate private equity house Accrue Capital, and main board director and City of London head at CBRE.
