There are delays on train services in and out of London Victoria this morning due to a fallen tree blocking the tracks earlier.

A tree blocking the railway between Caterham and Purley has been removed, allowing all lines between these stations to reopen, but trains may still be delayed by up to 15 minutes, said National Rail. Disruption is expected until 10:30am.

Network Rail are on site to remove the tree, National Rail said.

The rail operator advised commuters that London Buses are accepting Southern tickets between Caterham and Purley on route 407, and said customers may use Upper Warlingham station as an alternative to Whyteleafe station.
