Amazon has opened the doors to a three-years in the making shiny new headquarters in a trendy new development in Shoreditch.

And in a boost for post-Brexit UK, it even said today it has increased the amount of space it's taken at Principal Place.

After releasing CGI images if what the place would look like back in 2014, City A.M. can offer a first glimpse of the finished thing.

Plans for a tennis court, basketball court and swimming pool have apparently been scrapped by developer Brookfield.

Here's a sneak peek inside...

While the sports courts may have gone, beneath the entrance in a "basement mezzanine" level is room for 600 bikes so staff can still keep fit.

It may have eschewed the flashy sports features but it's adopted the de riguer look of a modern Shoreditch office (or as the developer puts it, the "un square mile"). Open plan kitchen? Check. Industrial lighting? Check. Mid-century modern chairs? Check. And, of course, there's a locker to pick up you Amazon packages from.
