Thousands hit London’s streets today to celebrate the capital’s annual Pride parade.

Rainbow was scattered across London, from the transport network to some notable buildings. And for the first time, a rainbow flag has been projected onto the Palace of Westminster, while the parade featured 81 floats and 231 walking groups.

Some 40,000 people were forecast to join the day's celebrations, making it London’s biggest Pride to date.
