Fans of the midnight snack will now have more to choose from thanks to the news that Deliveroo is extending its delivery hours in London.

The food delivery firm said that from today you can order the likes of Burger King, Wagamama, Pizza Express and Dirty Burger, and have it delivered to your door as late as midnight.

Over 400 restaurant partners have signed up, so peckish folks will have their choice of a late night burger, noodles, or even Snog frozen yoghurt.

“We’ve added a late-night delivery service after overwhelming requests from hungry customers looking for their favourite bites late at night” said a Deliveroo spokesperson. “We’re delighted we’ve been able to make it happen and with so many excellent partners on board that are available exclusively to Deliveroo customers”.

The company also said any late-night requests will be handled with "the utmost respect and privacy" by their drivers. So presumably no questions on whether a KFC Family Feast is indeed for sharing, or just for one...

Earlier this week, Deliveroo announced it had come up with a new side order of "garlic-less bread", featuring a mint pesto topping in honour of international kissing day. No word yet on how popular that proved to be.

And today, it was revealed the food delivery firm has called on the government to change the law so it can give its couriers enhanced rights.

According to the BBC, Deliveroo has submitted a response to the government's review of the “gig economy”, saying that the law currently prevents it from offering benefits such as sick pay to its couriers.
