Signal problems are causing disruption to trains in and out of Cannon Street station this afternoon.

Delays are expected to continue until 7pm.

Signalling problems at London Cannon Street means services running to and from this station may be cancelled, delayed or revised, National Rail said.

A set of signals has failed between New Cross and London Cannon Street. Engineers have found the cause of the issue, and are working to restore the signalling.

Which routes are affected?

Trains can now run between New Cross and Cannon Street, but cannot run from Greenwich to London Cannon Street while the engineers continue work to fully fix the problem.

All trains that run from Dartford/Slade Green to Cannon Street via Woolwich and Greenwich will be diverted after to Charlton, and call additionally at Blackheath, Lewisham and New Cross.

These trains will not call at Westcombe Park, Maze Hill, Greenwich or Deptford.

Services leaving London can run via Greenwich but may be delayed.
