The Northern line is subject to delays this afternoon after a woman died when she was hit by a train at Clapham South Tube station.
British Transport Police (BTP) officers were called to Clapham South Underground station following reports of a person being struck by a Tube train. The call came in shortly before 12.40pm.
Paramedics, including the Air Ambulance, treated a woman for serious injuries, however despite their best effort she has sadly died, BTP confirmed.
This incident is not currently being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
There was previously no service on the line between Morden and Stockwell. The suspension has now been lifted, however, Transport for London warned some trains and platforms may still be busy.
