There are severe delays on the Circle line this afternoon due to a signal failure at Aldgate in east London.

The disruption is affecting the service in the clockwise direction, with no service between Aldgate and Edgware Road.

Meanwhile, the Circle and Hammersmith & City lines remain part suspended as police continue to investigate the tragic fire that took place at Grenfell Tower in north Kensington last week.

The lines were closed over the weekend due to concerns that falling debris from the tower could fall onto the track.
