Together has appointed Richard Tugwell to the position of group intermediary relationship director, as the specialist lender continues to expand its distribution network. Richard, whose career in financial services spans over 30 years, will oversee the company’s broker relationship teams, liaising with introducers across the UK. With a strong background in the mortgage market, Richard brings a wealth of experience to the role. He joins from Capital Home Loans and previously worked for 30 years at Northern Rock/Virgin Money, where he was head of sales/director of intermediary relationships. He has also been director of the Intermediary Mortgage Lenders’ Association.
HSBC Rob Ritchie as co-head of global banking, UK. Rob will join HSBC in September and work alongside Philip Noblet as we continue to drive the development of our UK franchise. Rob has spent his 20-year investment banking career building and managing financing businesses at UBS and Goldman Sachs. For the last 10 years he has driven the major growth of Goldman Sachs’ European corporate financing franchise, initiating a holistic client coverage model which integrated products from FX and derivatives through DCM, convertibles and pension advisory. He has been responsible for Goldman Sachs’ most senior financing relationships in Europe and established strong treasurer and chief financial officer relationships at a large number of major UK corporates and utilities, as well as European multinationals. Rob will report to us and will be a permanent member of our global banking weekly leadership meeting.
Knight Frank has promoted Michael McHale and recruited Daniel Woods to run its South Kensington and Tower Bridge offices respectively. Michael moves from his position as head of the core market in Knightsbridge to take up the role in Knight Frank’s new South Kensington office on Old Brompton Road. Daniel joins from Foxtons where he covered the London Bridge, Borough and Waterloo areas. Michael is a go-to expert on the local market, having worked in the surrounding area for both Hamptons and Strutt & Parker prior to joining Knight Frank in Knightsbridge. Daniel has spent two years as a highly successful agent in the London/Tower Bridge market, previously overseeing a team of five negotiators. Before becoming an agent, Daniel honed his sales skills in the retail industry. His role will be to grow the presence of Knight Frank’s sales team in the Tower Bridge office in conjunction with its successful lettings division.
