Service on the Circle and Hammersmith & City lines has been part suspended due to a huge fire in West London.

There is no service on either line between Hammersmith and Edgware Road, and the rest of the line is running with delays, Transport for London said. Both lines have been disrupted all day because of the fire. Tickets will be accepted on local buses.

A huge blaze engulfed the Grenfell Tower on the Lancaster West Estate in north Kensington in the early hours of this morning, with flames spreading from the second floor to the top of the 27 storey building.

The emergency services have confirmed six fatalities as a result of the blaze, but has not released any more details.
