London can add another string to its bow as one of the top global metropolises with new figures revealing it's the most connected city in the world.
The capital has trumped the likes of trendy New York, chic Paris and bustling Berlin, according to LinkedIn.
It comes as the professional networking site hit a landmark half a billion users, and the number in the UK reached 23m - around a third of the population.
Residents in the capital boast just over 300 connections on the professional networking site, on average, more than any other place in the world. The city even beat the heart of tech in the US, with the Bay Area of San Francisco - home of Silicon Valley - ranking third with 241 connections.
Amsteradam, with an average of 288 connections, ranked second in the list of top five most connected cities in the world. Greater Jakarta was fourth (225), followed by Milan (221).
The UK was found to be the fourth most connected country, with the United Arab Emirates, Netherlands and Singapore ahead.
