Problems at Euston caused by a fire next to the tracks yesterday are continuing for some commuters today, with London Overground trains still out of service.

National Rail said the fire that occurred next to the track at South Hampstead on Wednesday means that London Overground services are unable to run between Harrow & Wealdstone and London Euston. A shuttle service will operate between Watford Junction and Harrow & Wealdstone.

Euston was evacuated and closed for hours yesterday after the fire, leading to chaos for commuters during the Thursday evening rush hour.

Today's disruption is expected to continue until 1pm.

Customers have been advised they can use Chiltern Railways, London Midland, London buses, London Underground, Thameslink and Southern to complete their journeys.
