In oven news... Six of London’s best-loved pizza experts will go head to head this summer to create the capital’s best pizza - and the event’s organisers want you to be a judge.

On Sunday 28 May, six of the capital’s pizza greats will knead their dough to perfection, in the hope of being crowned the best pizza in town, as the London Pizza Festival returns to Borough Market for its third annual event.

Cheesy enough for you? Pizza lovers can sample delights from L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele; Hoxton’s inventive Radio Alice; last year’s champion Made of Dough; pizzerias-on-wheels Napoli on the Road and Sud Italia; and Addomè. With a lineup like that, the festival can't be topped (Well. Maybe with pepperoni).

Tickets are £28 and guarantees your position as a judge, as well as a beer or soft drink to help wash down the six quarter-slices of pizza you will sample (one from each competitor).

Alongside the pizza, there will be craft ales, Italian wine and soft drinks, as well as hand-made desserts from Casa Cannoli and Sorbitium Ices.

There will be four overlapping sessions between at 12pm and 4:30pm - so you can pick which time is best for you. Tickets can be purchased here.
