Highbury & Islington station in north London was evacuated and closed this afternoon after a man was hit by a train.
British Transport Police (BTP) said officers were called to the northbound Victoria Line platform at Highbury and Islington station following reports of a person being struck by a train. The call was made immediately before 2.30pm.
Officers are currently on scene alongside paramedics form the London Ambulance Service and the London Fire Brigade. They are working to treat a man who has sustained injuries.
This incident is not currently being treated as suspicious, BTP said.
Transport for London said the Victoria line is suspended between King's Cross St Pancras and Seven Sisters, with severe delays on the rest of the line.

Great Northern train services running through the station are also disrupted. National Rail said services may be cancelled, delayed or revised and disruption is expected until 17:00.
