Daily Mail and General Trust (DMGT) has nabbed its new chief financial officer from rival Thomson Reuters.
Tim Collier, who is currently the Thomson Reuters’ finance chief of its financial risk and market business, will take over on 2 May from the outgoing Stephen Daintith.
DMGT deputy finance director will act as interim finance chief until Collier begins.
Lord Rothermere said: “We are very pleased to have Tim join us. His range of skills and experience working within an international organisation with a focus on data, content and analytics are highly complementary to DMGT's global businesses.
"His prior roles working for portfolio companies in B2B information, events and media sectors with a significant US presence are aligned with DMGT's businesses and overall Group focus.
“He has a strong track record of delivery in a number of key areas, not just finance and treasury but also oversight of investment activities, M&A and restructuring and internal audit.”
