Signalling problems at Lewisham are causing disruption on services out of London.

The issues are expected to cause delays on Southeastern trains until at least 4pm today.

National Rail said trains from London are being disrupted between St Johns and Lewisham. Services towards Blackheath may be delayed passing the problem, and some services towards Hither Green are being diverted away from the problem and are unable to stop at Lewisham.

Services may be delayed by 10 minutes or revised.

National Rail's travel advice:

You may need to change at St Johns for a train to Lewisham if your train is diverted. Alternatively you can change trains at Hither Green for a train back to Lewisham.

If you are at Lewisham travelling to Hither Green or beyond, you can take the first train to St Johns, and change there for a train back towards Hither Green.

National Rail offered an apology to anyone affected by the disruption.
