Commuters are facing severe delays on the Central line this afternoon, due to two faulty trains.

There are severe delays on the entire line due to a faulty train at Holborn, as well as an earlier faulty train at Bethnal Green, which originally caused service to be suspended on part of the red line.

There were delays on the Northern line earlier today, after a person died in an incident at Archway station in north London

The service was part suspended, from Camden Town to High Barnet/Mill Hill East, but the station has now repoened and trains are stopping as normal.

British Transport Police (BTP) confirmed that a man died after he was struck by a Northern Line train at Archway station this morning.

Officers from BTP were called to the station shortly before 10.15am and are on scene alongside paramedics from the London Ambulance Service.

Work is now underway to identify the man and inform his family, the BTP said.

This incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
