Today's City Moves cover property, specialist banking, property tech and security. Take a look at these movers and shakers:

CBRE has appointed international office market expert Gavin Morgan to lead and enhance the provision of investor leasing services in CBRE’s Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) operations. Gavin will be based in London with responsibility for leading pan-EMEA Office Investor Leasing. He will work with CBRE experts across EMEA and other global regions, to leverage the company’s extensive network and market knowledge to create opportunities and enhance service delivery for clients across the region. Gavin joins CBRE after 16 years with JLL where he spent the majority of his career in Asia Pacific before relocating to JLL’s capital markets team in New York in 2015. As COO and Head of Leasing: Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, he was one the region’s most highly regarded leasing experts and advised many leading local Asia Pacific developers and prestigious international occupiers.

Investec Specialist Bank has appointed Conor McMahon to its corporate and acquisition finance team, led by Callum Bell, head of corporate and acquisition finance at Investec. Based in the team’s London office, Conor will play a key role in the origination and execution of leveraged finance and private debt solutions for clients across Europe. In his previous role as vice-president in the Bank of Ireland’s global acquisition finance team, Conor worked on a range of debt financing deals ranging from £7m to £200m Ebitda across leverage buy out transactions, acquisitions, refinancings, dividend recapitalisations and public-to-privates.

Rightmove founder and ex-Countrywide chief executive Harry Hill has joined property tech (proptech) residential lettings startup Lavanda as chairman. Harry will join the team to help shape the company’s future strategy and rapid growth. Harry is an industry pioneer who shares the belief in Lavanda’s disruptive potential, which uses the home sharing economy to monetise otherwise void periods in a property’s life-cycle.

Multidisciplinary engineering consultancy Cundall has appointed Darren Wood as principal security consultant to lead its new security specialism. With over 15 years’ experience in both contracting and consulting businesses within the security industry, Darren has worked on prestigious schemes such as 22 Bishopsgate in London, and across the UK.
