North Greenwich Tube station was evacuated and closed due to a security alert outside the station earlier this afternoon.
The alert has since been "stood down" by the police, and according to Transport for London, the station has now reopened.
The Metropolitan Police were called at 2.55pm this afternoon to reports of a suspicious vehicle outside the station and officers were sent to the scene to investigate.

Witnesses said on Twitter that police were in the area with sniffer dogs.
