There are severe delays on the Victoria line this morning, with no service between Victoria station and Brixton.

Transport for London said the disruption was due to signal failure at Brixton.

The disruption comes as service on the Piccadilly line slowly but surely starts to show signs of improvement.

Around half of the Piccadilly trains were taken off the tracks last month, so repairs could be carried out - which led to severe delays lasting for weeks.

However, the Piccadilly line twitter account finally shared a positive(ish) message about service status earlier today:

And just in time too, as Night Tube services launch on the Piccadilly line tonight.
